TRAINING AT STRADEY
The Warriors regular training sessions on the side field at Stradey Park. In these pictures:
Gabby McMullan - one of the originals but only played in the 1st ever match in gorseinnon. However he still enjoyed training sessions 7 years later and would have played more but for family commitments on a Sunday.
John Horwood - Not only does John hardly ever miss a game, he hardly misses a training session either. No wonder he was twice named Most Improved Player.
Edward Williams - now in the twilight of his career, hooker Ed was happy to train on nice sunny days like this one.
Meredith Pugh - One of the new generation but already making a big impact on the side, usually on the wing.
David Edwards - encouraged by Meredith to come along this is one of his early experiences of rugby.
Bleddyn Joseph - a very keen and very quick youngster from the Bont, Bleddyn only ever made one apperance for the Warriors but loved training, especially anything that showed off his speed.
Darel Watkins - former prop who although retired often turns out at training sessions to help pass on his experience to the youngsters
Chris Bonar - veteran prop and eldest of rugby brother trilogy, still happy to sharpen his skills. Chris
