The Warriors were happy to accept the invitation of Cardiff City Council Sports Development to come to a come and try day. A decent squad went up and on the day made up about 50% of the people there. It took place in (I think) Tre Morfa, which had certain qualities reminisent of Morfa, Llanelli.

There were numerous rugby based games, some freebies (2 t shirts) and (eventually Welsh international prop Ben Evans (Gentle/Big Ben depending on if your in his company)

We also got to have a photo taken near the world cup which was quite impressive until a few months later and the likes of Furnace Juniors got to pick it up, throw it about, drink out of it etc, oh well.
